A restless spirit with a desire to add her contribution to the world, Isabel Fry found a way to escape both the closed security of her wealthy family network and a direction towards domesticity.

Isabel found this escape through teaching, after a family friend suggested she join her at a school in Brighton. From there began a remarkable journey, into alternative education.

In this section, discover glimpses of Isabel's teaching philosophy, activity and impact.
